Any insite or information on what a 1031 exchange is. Or is there some site I can just go to and get the info? I know this sounds lame but I just heard about it today and didn't really go and search the web yet. Been playing on this new blog site.

Mark -
No disrespect here, but you're promoting deals of BULK REO property transactions in the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars and you don't know what a 1031 exchange is? That frightens me somewhat.

It seems to me that your 10 posts that preceded your promotional one in the Bulk forum were just designed to grant you access to start advertising your deal posts.

I have discussed on this forum about using Land Trusts to hold title to your investment properties. Just for the record, you can exchange beneficial shares of a Land Trust too. In other words, you can perform a 1031 exchange of two Land Trusts (that hold investment property) or you can exchange the beneficial interests instead.
