This may be a marketing topic, but here goes... Is anyone familiar with using Google adwords to get publicity to a website? I'm considering whether it would be worth having a website to attract customers for entry only agreements (charging a flat fee to list properties on MLS).

There are tons of courses available on the topic of adwords. Good, bad and downright bogus.

Adwords definitely work well but if you don't understand how the game is played, you'll likely get creamed and your savvy competition (and Google)can easily drive your CPC (cost per click) up until it's cost-prohibitive to you.

Google has their rulebook posted for you to review and they're pretty helpful in answering questions but understand that unless you're dialed in on the adwords game...you'll be swimming in shark infested waters with a gaping wound.

That said, I don't mean to discourage you from using adwords but just be aware of what happens behind the scenes. 8)

I agree with Dan. You have to know what you are doing and pay close attention to your campaign.

Funny you should say that. I just made a post on another thread here about Google Adwords that should help you
